Rae McFarland, the founder of Avispa in Salt Lake City, Utah, started modifying, designing, and creating revolutionary equipment and innovative foods as early as the 1950’s at his family’s meat processing plant.The McFarland’s family has been involved in the meat business since the 1860’s.
